The Situation
Founded in 2020, Multiplier is a fast-scaling global employment platform on a mission to make it easy for businesses to employ anyone, anywhere. By managing international hiring, payroll, compliance and benefits through a single platform, Multiplier helps companies expand globally without borders or bureaucracy.
After a period of rapid growth, the leadership team recognised that the brand needed to evolve. The company’s pace of innovation and expansion had outgrown its early-stage identity. Design debt and inconsistency were inevitable in such a fast-moving, distributed organisation.
Bert won a competitive national pitch process and were tasked to Multiplier to reimagine the brand from the ground up, defining a clear, inspiring brand strategy, creating a distinctive new identity and visual system, and designing the UI framework that would empower the in-house design and product teams to implement at scale.
The Change
Our process began by engaging the global leadership and creative teams to uncover what truly united Multiplier’s people, product and purpose. Through a series of strategic workshops and interviews, a powerful, unifying idea emerged — the belief that the world of work should have no limits.
This insight became the foundation of the new brand essence: World Without Limits.
It captured everything Multiplier stands for — enabling opportunity, connection and growth without borders.
From this strategic platform we built a complete identity system. At its core sits the Portal, a dynamic symbol representing openness, connection and possibility — and a subtle nod to the “M” of Multiplier. It embodies the company’s role as a gateway to global opportunity.
The new visual world moved away from predictable corporate blues to a vibrant, ownable Energy Orange — a colour of speed, optimism and human warmth. This was supported by a palette of energetic tones and digital neutrals to ensure balance and flexibility across every touchpoint.
Typography, led by Roobert, gave the brand a contemporary, global voice — approachable yet confident. A refreshed illustration style and authentic photography direction placed people at the centre, celebrating diversity and the human connections that drive global work.
Working in close collaboration with the in-house design and product teams, Bert created a digital-first design system and UI framework. This unified toolkit connected brand and product, enabling teams to deliver a seamless, consistent experience across marketing, platform and communications.
The UI design work focused on clarity, speed and usability - reflecting the platform’s promise to simplify global employment. We established grid systems, component hierarchies, spacing logic and motion principles designed for scale. Every interface was built to feel open, fast and human, with purposeful use of the new colour palette to guide attention and action.
Once the design system was complete, product implementation was delivered internally by Multiplier’s exceptional in-house developers and designers. Our work was documented and handed over with detailed specifications, component libraries and accessibility guidelines, ensuring a smooth transition from design to development. This model empowered the internal team to evolve the system independently, embedding the new brand deep into the company’s product culture.
The Growth
The new brand launched globally in 2024, introducing a bold, human identity and a compelling purpose that resonated across audiences and markets.
World Without Limits became more than a strapline — it became the organising idea behind everything Multiplier does. The rebrand energised internal culture, sharpened market positioning, and strengthened the company’s presence in a rapidly growing category.
The impact was immediate and tangible:
- +70% rise in organic traffic
- +30% increase in share of voice within the EOR category
- +30% uplift in non-paid pipeline
- +25% growth in average deal size
- +350% increase in social engagement
In 2025, the project received international recognition, earning Honourable Mention in Fast Company’s Innovation by Design Awards — joining past honourees such as Stripe, Canva and Wise.
The award celebrated Multiplier’s rebrand as a “bold, human expression of opportunity, connection and a borderless future.”
