Making financial advice accessible

Following the successful launch of evestor, the team behind the online financial advice platform are looking to build on the foundations we helped to create back in 2017.

By recognising that more people need access to transparent and financial advice, Anthony Morrow (co-founder of Tatton Asset Management plc) and Duncan Cameron (co-founder of comparison site Moneysupermarket.com) wanted to broaden evestor’s offering. The result of that? OpenMoney!

Making financial advice accessible and affordable for everyone is something we can all get behind. So when approached by Anthony to support with the second phase of this venture, we were immediately excited at the prospect of bringing this progressive service to life.

A dynamic identity

We began by developing the name, OpenMoney. It was inspired by the need to open eyes and minds and have open conversations about money, and how the people behind the service pledge to be transparent in their dealings, clear in their advice, and honest about the industry they serve.

We continued to cement the company’s mission by creating a comprehensive set of tone of voice principles and then pairing this with a bright and affable visual identity made for the everyday consumer.

With an emphasis on reassurance, friendliness and dynamism, the visual identity included illustration, patterns, iconography, motion and photography.

Rapid growth

After just 2 years of trading, evestor now has over 10,000 customers registered – we’re excited to help build on these foundations and evolve their original offering through the launch of OpenMoney, helping them to realise the initiative of making financial advice accessible and affordable for everyone.
