Arca, Artesanos de la Carpinteria, design and make Andalucian furniture and planters using traditional methods from their workshop in Granada, Southern Spain.
Handmade from locally sourced timber, every Arca product is built using time-honoured materials and methods.
Each piece embodies founder Borja Fuentes’ belief in creating sustainability through timeless design and quality craftsmanship.
The weaves and tiles common to Arca products pay homage to Granada's Arabic design legacy. Mozarabic, Jewish and traditional Spanish design and construction methods feature heavily throughout the range.
We created the identity, store, photography and packaging for Arca.
With the company founder's original name proving problematic in English, we used our global branding experience to create the name Arca, Artesanos de la Carpinteria. Our work is helping Arca’s locally designed and crafted products reach a global audience.
